Historic Electric Vehicle Foundation
The Historic Electric Vehicle Foundation is a registered 501c3 non profit corporation that was formed in 2013. The Foundation exists for the prime purpose of education concerning the history of electric vehicles from the nineteenth century up to and beyond the twenty first century as well as preserving examples of these vehicles for all the peoples of the world to enjoy and learn from. On Friday, August 15th, 2014 our foundation opened it’s first International Electric Vehicle Museum in Kingman, Arizona right on Route 66, hence the name the Route 66 Electric Vehicle Museum. Our museum currently gets over 50,000 visitors a year from most of the countries of the world. Earlier this year a replica of an electric powered horseless carriage was donated to our foundation. As it did not fit our criteria to be included in the museum collection we decided to raffle it off. We will be using the proceeds to enhance the displays with photos and historical documents. Some of the funds will go to the upgrades currently being done on the vehicle as explained above. No money will be used for administration. We are all volunteers. There will only be a limited number of tickets sold. We will sell no more than 2500 tickets. The raffle will be held on Saturday October 7th at 6:30 PM at the "Chillin on Beale" event in Kingman, Arizona. You need not be present to win. Our HEVF foundation will assist you in shipping logistics if you should be the lucky winner.
