SEA Semester - Falmouth Road Race
SEA Semester has dedicated itself to studying human impact on the ocean since its founding in 1971. This happens in a couple of ways. First, providing students with first-hand experience living on the ocean, providing a unique and valuable perspective with which to study and discuss environmental issues. Second, by ensuring that students are working on tangible projects and conducting useful research which can further our understanding of the ocean. SEA has collaborated with Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution (WHOI), Marine Biological Lab (MBL), United States Geological Survey (USGS), National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) and Woods Hole Research Center on various projects.
