Labrador Retriever Club of the Potomac, Inc.
Helps us celebrate LRCP's 40th Ruby Jubilee, held in Frederick, MD the second week in April, by participating in our 50/50 Raffle. LRCP is the largest Labrador specialty in the country, with exhibitors from all-over the globe in attendance. The Club’s purpose has always been two-fold: to preserve the breed and to promote the working capabilities of Labradors through events in obedience and field work, with an emphasis on open participation by all interested Labrador owners. In addition to the Spring Specialty, which has grown from one day to four days, and includes two obedience trials, the LRCP hosts several field training sessions, a Hunt Test in May, a Working Certificate in September and their “Bare Bones” Fall Specialty- held annually in the fall. In keeping with the Club’s purpose, the LRCP excels at two of the most important services a breed club can offer: Education and Rescue. LRCP Spring Specialty honors Lab Rescue of the L.R.C.P., Inc., by holding a "Parade of Rescue Dogs!"
