Who doesn't love sports? And who doesn't love helping kids? In this case, we are raising money to help Mason the Warrior, a 1 year old who is fighting Biliary Atresia. He has gone through many surgeries in his short life and we are trying to help him and his family continue to help him and as well as meet some of their financial needs!
We will be raffling off Many, Many Sports items to help with this cause!
Once we reach little Mason's goal, we will reach out to help another kid!
With the cost of a transplant often exceeding $500,000, many transplant families are unable to shoulder the financial burden of such a procedure. The Children’s Organ Transplant Association (COTA) is a national charity dedicated to organizing and guiding communities in raising funds for transplant-related expenses. In Greeley, volunteers are raising funds for COTA in honor of transplant patients like local baby, Mason Carroll.
Mason is the son of Jessica Mason and Matthew Carroll. Born on February 27, 2015, Mason was diagnosed with Biliary Atresia. The doctors at Colorado Children’s Hospital in Aurora have recommended a life-saving liver transplant. An estimated $50,000 is being raised by Greeley volunteers.
