North Missouri Sportsman's Alliance
The foundation for the NMSA began in the fall of 2006, culminating in the orginization attaining non-profit status in 2009.
The North Missouri Sportsman's Alliance (NMSA) is currently comprised of four outdoor organizations, all headquartered in Livingston County. The orginizations include the Grand River Area Chapter of Ducks Unlimited, the Shortgrass Chapter of Quail Forever, the North Central Missouri Chapter of the National Wild Turkey Federation, and the Chillicothe High School Hunting & Fishing Club.
The NMSA works with the Conservation Federation of Missouri (CFM) and the MIssouri Department of Conservation (MDC) to provide financial assistance for the Share The Harvest Program in the counties of Carroll, Linn, Livingston, and Davies. The NMSA also works to promote fishing and hunting in a safe and ethical manner, as well as, provideing some financial assistance to youth orginizations involved in outdoor activities.
