Project Graduation is a chem free, all-night event that helps to insure the safety of our children while they celebrate graduation. This tradition began in Gorham following the 1980 graduation season where twelve Maine teens died in alcohol related accidents. The event begins within hours of graduation and costs approximately $20,000.00 or about $100.00 per student. This includes the cost of the venue, food, drinks, gift bags for the seniors, entertainment, DJ, transportation and much more. It is through the hard work of the parent committee and other volunteers that the necessary funding is raised.
