BCF - Michael Titus Print Raffle - "Yellow", valued at $3,800.
The goal of the raffle is to raise funds to offset the cost of community events and projects developed for Brentwood's centennial, in 2019.
Specifically, the foundation will host 10 events in 2019, including: 1) Brentwood Trivia Night, 2) Event to Honor Longtime Residents, 3) Art Exhibit, 4) Day of Community Service, 5) Neighborhood Block Parties, 6) Oldtime Baseball Game, 7) Concert and Movie Night, 8) Race to the Courthouse, 9) Special parade and exhibits at Brentwood Days, 9) Party of the Century, 10) Holiday Party on/around date of incorporation: December 15.
In addition, the foundation will support these projects: Video Documentary, Commemorative History Book, Century Houses and Plaques, Custom patches for police and firefighters, Banners for light fixtures.
The foundation is also raising funds to assist with these city projects: Brentwood Centennial Park (to be located on the site of the current parking lot at the Recreation Complex), and upgrades to a new bike trail that will travel from Marshall, north to (and then perhaps through) Rogers Parkway. Other projects will be named.
The foundation is planning and raising funds for Brentwood's centennial in 2019, We're also a community gifting organization. It is our mission to educate the public about Brentwood, instill pride, confidence, and build a spirit of community.
