Raffles in Texas > HPJC Fundraiser for PEACE CAMP

HPJC Fundraiser for PEACE CAMP

Our goal is to raise funds so that more children can attend Peace Camp. We keep the price for each of the five-day sessions lower than most other day camps through the support of donors. One-third to one-half of the children attend the camp on scholarships. Thank you for supporting HPJC and Peace Camp Houston!

Love Never Dies, the sequel to the long-running musical The Phantom of the Opera, is a romantic musical composed by Andrew Lloyd Webber with lyrics by Glenn Slater and a book by Lloyd Webber, Ben Elton, Frederick Forsyth and Slater. It is a loosely adapted from Forsyth's novel The Phantom of Manhattan (1999).
Houston Peace and Justice Center
Houston Peace and Justice Center, established more than 20 years ago, is a 501(c)3 organization providing networks and resources for organizations and individuals to advance peace and social justice throughout Houston. We have five weeks of Peace Camp for children under the age of 18 and hold an annual Peacemaker Awards Ceremony. Focusing on the needs of our community, we also have Houston's top online activist and social justice calendar. For more info please visit http://www.hpjc.org/

Peace Camp Houston is a summer day camp fostering an understanding of peace, justice, and environmental awareness for kids, kindergarten through grade 12. The first Peace Camp was organized by the Houston Chapter of Women's International League for Freedom and Peace in 2000. Several years ago, the Houston Peace and Justice Center became the main sponsor. Peace Camp Houston has grown to five different sessions and is held at different venues around Houston.
