2019 WAIC Wyoming Game & Fish Commissioner License
License is being offered by Wyoming Agriculture in the Classroom, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, striving for elementary students to understand Wyoming's vast natural resources through the Wyoming Stewardship Project, which teaches stewardship and critical thinking through the lenses of agriculture, minerals and energy, and outdoor recreation and tourism. Tickets are $100 each and a maximum of 200 tickets will be sold. Tickets are available beginning January 18th and a winner will be drawn no later than May 1, 2019. Tickets are offered on a first come first serve basis. WAIC wishes to thank ONEOK, as they just pledged new match money in the amount of $5,000 of the total funds raised to benefit the Wyoming Stewardship Project. The winner of the Commissioner License will have the option of a deer, elk, or antelope permit in the hunt area of their choosing. The license is valid only in hunt area selected, and cannot be changed once issued. Once issued, the license cannot be canceled, fees refunded, or transferred to another individual. Elk hunt areas 75, 77, and 79 also require a Special Park Permit, which is not available to winners of the Commissioner License. DO NOT bid on a Commissioner License if your intent is to hunt in Grand Teton National Park. For more information contact Rindy West @ 307-751-3430.
Wyoming Agriculture in the Classroom's mission is to develop students' understanding of Wyoming's vast resources, where they become informed citizens capable of serving as stewards of Wyoming's future.
The three primary programs are the Wyoming Stewardship Project, Bookmark & Beyond Program, and Educator of the Year.
